Description: An estimated population of fewer than twenty pieces in Uncirculated condition makes this 1812 Small Date large cent a very rare example. NGC has certified this particular example as MS-62 BN making it one of the finer examples known. Deep cocoa brown surfaces team together with noticeable levels of mint luster to make this an above average specimen for the assigned grade. Naturally non-porous surfaces are readily noticed on both the obverse and reverse of this very difficult to find issue (ck).
