Lot Title: Ancient Greece - Four certified silver coins
Lot Number: 61
Description: The Now-And-Then Collection. Age and beauty! While the ancient coin market has always been considered somewhat of a niche, there is no denying that there is a certain appeal that coins from thousands of years ago offer that just simply cannot be matched. Within this four coin lot is an 133-167 BC ANACS AU-50 Mysia, Pergamon, Anonymous Quaestor, Cistophoric Tetradrachm, an 148BC ICG XF-45 Thasos-Thracian Isles Tetradrachm, a 2nd-1st centuries BC NGC Strike 5/5 Surface3/5 Tetradrachm Dionysus and Heracles, and a (510-480BC) Greek Kroton Silver Stater NGC XF. It is always amazing to see numismatic items that have survived the multitude of centuries in such an incredible manner (ck).

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
