Description: VAM-2A was used to create the famous proof strikings, but this example is not even close to prooflike. Instead, both sides exhibit bright, snowy luster, suffused by admirable soft white hue. Considerable abrading of the obverse cannot be missed, as wispy little grazes and a thin, horizontal abrasion on the cheek assuredly explain for the basal mint-state grade, but the reverse is much better preserved and looks fully "choice".
