Description: Terrific, sparkling luster runs silvery circles around the entire periphery of either side, providing a serviceable impression of a fully uncirculated example of this very difficult, and true key date. It's safe to say that neither side actually displays wear, but pale greyish texture occupying a substantial portion of the centers shows superficial surface friction that leads to the AU-58 grade. A small scrap at the top of Liberty's neck qualifies as a mentionable abrasion, and a handful of tiny, consecutive reed marks fall across the brow. An outstanding example that carves thousands of dollars off the price of any specimen grading just two points higher.
