Description: Crackle And Pop Collection. 1883-S certainly qualifies as a grade-rarity even though the third-party population reports substantially inflate the numbers at or above the "choice" level as speculators look for single-point upgrades. It is far from common, even at just MS-63. Terrific strike quality comes close to perfection and looks virtually on par with the esteemed 1879-S through 1882-S issues, but the luster looks muted by comparison to those famous prior strikings. A series of reed marks adhere to the lower neck, and a small scrape shows near the top of the cap.
