Description: Maris 24-P, R.5+. While the 24-P is one the most common of the Maris-24 obverse die-marriages, it is extremely rare in grades above XF. Nicer circulated examples are always in high demand, especially with problem-free planchets. Here is just such a piece, showing pretty pecan-brown with traces of greyish toning against many devices. All of the saw tooth denticles are visible on the well-centered obverse, while the reverse features maybe only half of the denticles. A highly appealing example without excessive surfaces gloss.
