Description: VAM-3, the famous "7/6" overdate. Evidently a middle die-state, there is no die crack to the obverse rim as seen on late die strikings. Generally speaking, the appearance very much seems fully "choice" until one spies the moderate profusion of tiny abrasions and chicken scratch on the cheek and on the eagle's breast. That said, clean fields and some attractive, golden rim toning elevate the eye-appeal.
