Description: The Baroque Consignment. Per the consignor, this is the first designated "prooflike" 8-reale ever certified by PCGS, and the moniker certainly fits. Not only are the fields significantly mirrored, but the devices are surprisingly textured with light mint frost. The PCGS population report also indicates "MS-64" as the highest grade awarded 1808-Mo TH. A couple of edge planchet fissures at the obverse bottom readily serve as pedigree markers. Brilliant and truly remarkable.
