Description: Unfathomably original, this is an absolutely gorgeous 1889-CC for the Fine-15 grade. The surface is stone-cold original with slightly richer tin-grey overall, disturbed only by a single meaningless dark spot toward the reverse far left. Nobody would ever deny that 1889-CC is one of the premier keys to the series, and as such, numerous individual examples have been the target of those who might seek to "improve" visual appeal, but not so in this case. There is just simply nothing to mar the beauty of such a previous key silver dollar, and lucky is the new owner who has the astuteness to pick up a delightful coin like this. A welcome addition to the list of Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award winners.
