Description: Sam Lawrence Collection. Among the dates in the Morgan silver dollar series that are referred to as common roll dates the 1880 stands out as a tougher find. This twenty coin roll lot is filled with nice and original examples that grade from MS-60 through MS-63 and are typical for the date. White cartwheel luster and minor bag marks give these issues a similar look that leads one to believe it may be an original roll that has been simply transplanted to a newer tube (ck).
