Description: Inlands House Collection. Even for 1879-S, the eye-appeal is unusually arresting given the borderline prooflike aspect, enhanced by a thin golden ring on the rims. 1881-S looks just as nice and the depth of reflectivity ensures a fully prooflike designation, although the upper obverse and lower reverse periphery show a splash of toast-gold color. Finally, 1891-CC offers some minor cameo effect of its own, especially on the obverse, with the prooflike aspect a bit diminished by thin greyish toning. Several interesting slants on the appeal of prooflike silver dollars within a three coin lot.
