Description: Sliders according to PCGS, either of these better dates barely miss out on a mint-state designation due to trivial wear. 1870 displays 3.5 diamonds and offers fabulous medium brown patina, ideal for a cent of this vintage, and especially nice for a date that is difficult to locate on a better planchet. Ditto 1872, as the offered example features extensive frosty luster and subtle wintergreen accents over the darker brown surface. Two coin lot.
