Description:	Mint error as a disclaimer is a bit of a stretch for the 1847-O quarter eagle, as this issue is not all that rare with rotated dies, this being a smoothly worn and nominally lustrous example. The 1951-D Lincoln is definitely more impressive as an error, and kudos to the consignor who submitted the coin for certification, as the error would be easy to miss for a circulated cent. The flan was struck once, rotated some 45 degrees and struck again, resulting in a ghostly image of the motifs on either side. Two coin lot.
