Description: Two of the truly common dates within the double-eagle series never looked so nice as when they garnered NGC MS-64 grades (and CAC stickers). Remarkably few marks visit the 1924 and this is a very flashy example that incorporates a terrific strike into the eye-appeal. If anything, 1927 is even sharper than its companion (see Liberty's face), and smooth greyish patina suffuses potent luster on either side. Two coin lot.
