Description: Overton-101 has the point of star 13 touching the bust, while on the reverse, "T" in UNITED and the second "T" of STATES are prominently recut. The Overton guide mentions a late die-state "a" for the O-101, and it is well worth noting strong clashing of the dies, particularly noticeable within the obverse fields as raised, inverted outlines from the reverse die. The condition of the reverse surface suggests that side to be right on the cusp of mint-state, while the obverse shows only minimal friction and a few contact marks, namely above the head and strewn into the obverse upper right field.
