Description: Berry Tree Collection. Gleaming platinum-white emanates from 1909, and the sharpness is on par with the best for the date given fully detailed stars and a nice ear of corn. This example offers intriguing, subtle cameo nuances. Pleasing pomegranate-gold and chartreuse thoroughly drape both sides of 1912, and as is often the case for the final date of the series, the dies show signs of having been used to exhaustion given the strong orange-peel effect. A pair of Gems within this two coin lot.
