Description: Berry Tree Collection. 1874 leads off this selection and provides especially deep, dark cherry-brown color over an unexpectedly sharp striking. Next is 1886 "variety 1" in proof format, and this coin boasts especially nice eye-appeal on the obverse, where flame-orange mirrors surround a richly tinted magenta-brown central area. The reverse is more thoroughly draped in chocolate brown patina. Finally, 1893 shimmers with brilliantish burgundy-orange that actually approaches a fully "red" designation. Three coin lot.
