Description: 1,219 in MS-64 and 311 higher at PCGS. Strong luster and wholesome original wood-grain surfaces cover both the obverse and reverse of this Flying Eagle cent graded MS-64 by PCGS. This near-Gem has minimally abraded surfaces for the grade and is likely only held back from a weaker strike, though that could be attributed to a failing die as die cracks can be seen from the eagle's tail to the rim and between the eagle's wings. A great example for the type that should prove to be great value for any type set collector as the price skyrockets in one grade higher (ls).
