Description: Stains and small tears as mentioned for the 1935 E $1 Silver Certificate Fold-over scarcely seem worth mentioning, as they are generally on par with the XF/AU grade range, and regardless, this is visually a highly arresting example. The 1988 A $1 Fold Error mentions "minor foreign substance", but interestingly, this so-called "foreign substance" may have played a role in causing the error (jamming the production mechanism), and so, it could be a significant added bonus to this terrific, grotesque printing error. Two note lot.
