Description: While known as a date with a disproportionate number of salvaged examples, there are no such concerns here as this is simply an honestly circulated, yet finely detailed San Francisco twenty. Many of the small ticks and nicks seen were present at the mint before the coin even entered circulation. Now, pleasant olive-gold patina rests on the surface, offset by carrot-gold accents within the protected recesses. An unexpectedly hairlined area beneath "PLURIBUS" on the reverse seems to be merely incidental.
