Description: Copper Clappers Caper Collection. 1874/4, with the final digit repunched. Mintage: 700. 11 graded PR-67, 1 higher (PR-67+) at PCGS. Without a cameo designation, the superb-gem level represents the numeric barrier for grade, as a trifling "plus" barely places merely a single known example beyond the reach of this dazzling specimen. Almond-gold toning predominates, but cedes to noteworthy rainbow tones flashing above the shield, and along the lower reverse. There is simply nothing to nitpick, as the pristine surface shows no carbon flecks nor contact marks of any size.
