Description: Bolender-6, BB-242 features the so-called "narrow date" obverse and has an interesting characteristic on the reverse such that all the Ts have their right serifs longer than the left. Pleasing greyish tan generally colors the broad, upper elevation areas and contrasts nicely with lilac in the fields. Signs of an insignificant cleaning, namely some minor hairlines rubbed around the date area, probably did not escape PCGS vigilance, but was rather reasonably deemed not to be a deterrent to a straight grade. Only the expected, average circulation ticks show up on either side.
