Description: Shawl Consignment. A small void in the planchet just in front of and slightly below the chin appears to have been as-struck, and would not figure into grade considerations. As a shining white half-dollar, full luster permeates the fields, but a close examination admittedly reveals innumerable tiny ticks layered upon the high relief areas -- again, quite possibly pre-struck planchet defects that were never struck out of the coin to begin with.
