Description: Berry Tree Collection. VAM-2 has some fascinating things going on with the date, such that "18/18" seems like an apt description of the partially effaced extra serifs on "1" and the shadowed doubling off left of the first "8". Late die-state examples often show a die break connecting the base of the digits, but the present specimen, as a DMPL survivor, will obviously be struck from freshened dies and lack such evidence of aging. Profound contrast immediately leads to the designation, but this shimmering white dollar shows the expected magnification of tiny abrasions that numeric grade potential.
