Description: B-26, BB-114 shares the obverse die with several die marriages for 1798, featuring a very high '8' in the date, and bars resting near stars 10 through 12. In this very early die state, the reverse displays absolutely no signs of the die cracks that are usually seen, specifically at the very end of the olive stem. Slightly dull, medium grey barely layers over a minimal amount of luster on each side, the reverse slightly more cartwheeled than the obverse. Boldly struck with superior delineation of Liberty's hair strands.
