Description: Obviously the highlight of this consignment offering, the 1937-D 3-legged buffalo (NGC MS-61) offer the majority of the value of this octet. Frosty but somewhat dusky yellow-grey permeates the surface and one might think this a fully choice nickel as observed by the more important obverse, but sharp eyes will pick up a near-invisible pin scratch down the length of the bison on the reverse, accounting for the grade. Remaining pieces include: 1913 type-1 (NGC MS-63, thick grey patina), 1913-D type-1 (PCGS AU-55, peach-yellow color), 1935 (NGC MS-64, light russet tones), 1935 (NGC MS-64, shimmering chartreuse, green and magenta iridescence provides nice eye-appeal), 1935-D (PCGS MS-63), 1937-S (PCGS MS-66, gorgeous arctic-blue accents), and 1938-D (NGC MS-66). Eight coin lot.
