Description: M.A. Milton Collection. VAM-2 has some die polish within the first "C" of the mintmark, as well as diagnostic polish lines near the eagle's left (observed) leg, as described in the reference. What sets this 1891-CC apart from most other GSA examples is the fact that it is NOT a much more prevalent "spitting eagle" variety. The 1891-CC is scarce enough within a GSA holder, at MS-63, and the much better attribution really adds to the rarity here. Shimmering near-white with some abrading of the cheek. Original box and certificate included.
