Description: M.A. Milton Collection. VAM-3, Top-100 "spitting eagle". Although common outside GSA holders, the 1891-CC "spitting eagle" earns quite a different reputation when still residing in its original GSA slab, where the population of known UNC examples drops precipitously at the choice and better grade level. Most seen will only grade MS-61 or so. Searing white luster sets both sides ablaze for this exquisite, original example. Original box and certificate included.
