Description: Blackjack Can Collection. 24,500 dollars were struck for 1845, and PCGS declares this to be a cleaned survivor, although the cleaning shows only as modest vertical hairlines across much of the obverse. 62,600 were struck for 1849, and the cleaning for this example is much more noticeable, as the whole surface has been swept with pale hairlines. Two coin lot.
