Lot Title: 1924 PCGS MS-66
Lot Number: 912
Description: The collector seeking only a single type example of the Saint-Gaudens double-eagle would be well advised to settle upon MS-66 at minimum, since common dates like the present 1924 are quite available and attainable. In addition, this is an absolutely hammered coin that features about the strongest level of facial delineation that one could ever hope for. The sun's rays on the reverse have been brought up to somewhat astonishing depth, showing unexpected "squaring off" of each individual ray. A fabulous coin and one that will not disappoint the collector who wants maximum detail for his dollar.
