Description: Mintage: 5908. Elusive traces of cleaning will hardly offend most collectors of the series, and given the rather scarce population of 1873-CC survivors, this beige-gold example, only slightly dull overall, will almost certainly attract strong bids. Good luck affording a problem-free AU example since such items command five digits at auction. Admittedly, minimal luster will be found on either side, and the Carson City mintmark is faint as always, but bold delineation of the major hair details, and some sculpting of the eagle's feathers bear witness to the PCGS AU sharpness evaluation.
