Description: And I Wonder Collection. Were it not for the problems ascribed by NGC, these would create a formidable trio, even at the XF grade level. They may be listed as follows: 1840-O (XF/cleaned, noticeable traces of luster and the cleaning is hardly offensive), 1849-C (XF/removed from jewelry, but the evidence of such is not readily apparent unlike the unnatural glossy surface that has obviously been repeatedly cleaned), and 1852-C (XF/cleaned, traces of luster and once again only light evidence of cleaning). If allowed to regain natural color in an appropriate environment, the new owner would be heavily rewarded by this three coin lot.
