Description: Mintage: 24,000. A welcome respite from it's far more common Philadelphia counterpart, 1854-O represents a scarce, but not unobtainable date in the series. Classic khaki-gold surface color attests to a reasonable level of vintage quality here, with very subtle iridescent strawberry shades evident at some viewing angles. For a New Orleans coin, the surface remains refreshingly devoid of contact marks.
