Description: Bert Davies Collection. Inflation has driven the value of $10 face in 1920 to about $125 in 2016, but of course, the intrinsic value of gold has far outpaced the rate of inflation. Included here is a quartet of gold quarter-eagles that might be briefly listed as follows: 1911 (AU-58, barely rubbed), 1914 (AU-55), 1914-D (AU/lightly cleaned, with the cleaning basically nondescript), and 1927 (AU-58, borderline UNC). Four coin lot.
