Description: And I Wonder Collection. Mintage: 9434, 11 graded MS-63, 13 higher at NGC. Sources cite the belief that 1852-C may be more available than suggested by its low mintage, but a simple glance at NGC's population instantly shows the issue's scarcity at the Choice BU grade level. Generous eye-appeal for a coin of such diminutive dimensions takes advantage of reasonably fresh dies that produced very good detail throughout, including boldly impressed stars and fine delineation of the wreath details. Brief, fleeting hairlines dash across the lemon-bright surface and a small planchet flake may be seen just right of the base of the portrait.
