Description: Tim Moeller Collection. VAM-5 has a weak "alligator eye", and is readily identified by locating "several horizontal die scratches below lower right hair vee", as mentioned in the VAM reference. Although blazing luster and an extremely deep strike would suggest a better BU graded, ANACS nailed the MS-61 grade perfectly, as the cheek has become affected by a singular long scrape. The rest of the obverse sees a number of additional microscopic ticks, while the reverse looks very choice given the near-absence of contact marks.
