Description: O-107 (R.3) can be identified by a die defect attached to the front of Liberty's throat, while three tiny dots rest above the left corner of the shield on the reverse. This is the "prime" die state identified in Overton, lacking any evidence of die cracks on either side, and therefore significantly more elusive than later strikings. Generous frosty luster affirms that the aesthetic quality easily meets or exceeds AU-50 levels, but by way of detriment, we must note a shallow planchet defect that can be seen drooping down from Liberty's eye.
