Description: B. Honeywell Collection. A quintet of earlier type half-dollars deserves careful inspection due to the possibility of substantial hidden value. So pay attention! These may be swiftly listed sans attributions as follows: 1806 draped bust (VF/scratched, likely a strike-through on the obverse that appears to be a screw-like object), 1827 (AU-50, light hairlines but probably nice enough to get a straight grade), 1839 capped bust (XF/cleaned, just too pale to be original), 1840 "small letters" (VF-35, gorgeous original), and 1870 (XF-40, about as perfect as they get). Good stuff in this five coin lot.
