Description: A single PCGS MS-64 1936 Arkansas precludes this from being strictly a gem quintet, but truth be told, it's a fantastic half-dollar for the grade, sporting gorgeous citrus-gold that dominates both sides, centered loosely upon aluminum-grey central areas. The balance all grade MS-65, including: 1946 Iowa (PCGS rattler MS-65, stark white), 1936 Oregon (NGC MS-65, rather nice for the grade and featuring attractive apricot-gold and burgundy overtones), 1935-S San Diego (PCGS green label MS-65, brilliant white with dashes of almond), and saving the nicest for last, 1936 York (NGC MS-65, stunning chartreuse-slate iridescence mingling with gentle magenta-orange iridescence). Much to enjoy with this five coin lot.
