Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1800 SEGS, as described
Lot Number: 509
Description: B-17, BB-196 can be easily attributed once the "collar" on the bust is identified, along with a lengthy arcing die crack through OF on the reverse. SEGS indicates "toned" on the slab, which astute bidders know actually indicates "artificial toning", or at least non-natural tone, in SEGS nomenclature. Looking deeper into the situation reveals glossy surfaces, as well as a curious oblong planchet flaw extending forward and up from Liberty's chin. Strong details are certainly suggestive of the AU grade level.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
