Description: Collector appeal: "B-" in our opinion. Given that the coins contained therein generally feature lovely original surfaces, many collectors will find this collection to be an appealing way by which to "jump start" a collection of Barber half-dollars. Perhaps fewer than a handful of pieces show evidence of cleaning, such as 1901 and 1906-S, but these are isolated incidents. Several earlier pieces on the first page show a full rim on the obverse only, but the vast majority of later dates feature full, strong rims on both sides.
