Description: 32 graded MS-66, 13 higher at PCGS. Ex-NGC 1656442-005 (same grade). Pleasant frosty mint texture shows very nice album toning that has seized hold of the obverse periphery, and also adorns much of the reverse. While minted to a high production standard of over 7 million pieces, very-gem examples are hardly common for this antebellum date, and it is especially a pleasure to find such a pretty, toned original example like this. Rather indifferently as usual, with Liberty's head only softly defined.
