Description: [MS-60/counterstamped] PCGS called the grade MS-64, but failed to note a remarkably neat "D" counter-stamped beneath IN GOD WE TRUST on the reverse. The counter-stamp at first glance appears to be a stunningly errant mintmark, placed crazily in topsy-turvy fashion, but it is in fact sunken into the coin. Delightful frosty texture penetrates the lower recesses of the design, providing nice counterpoint to the glossy texture of the fields.
