Description: Evidence of die polish and slightly flashy fields suggests fresh dies for 1853, and each side shows exceedingly sharp detail, uncommon for the type. 1854 features nearly as sharp obverse sharpness, but slight weakness at the as (nearly) always. Finally, 1855 type-2 sports somewhat bright surfaces and only a muddling strike overall. Three coin lot.
