Description: Mile High Collection. VAM-7 matches up for the obverse with the doubling of 8 in the date, but the reverse does not seem to match all of the pickup points for the same die-marriage. In all grades, 1879-CC is an undisputed key to the Morgan dollar series, and the example offered here fits well within a nice upper circulated range of grades, whether one focuses on the extremely-fine or about-uncirculated level. Indeed, peripheral devices support the presence of nice, flashy bright luster that illuminates the near-white surface and claims immediate attention.
