Lot Title: Complete collection of Eisenhower dollars in a Whitman 9131 album
Lot Number: 366
Description: A typical Eisenhower dollar collection consisting of non-certified coins often has few reasons to elicit excitement, but there are many intriguing coins herein that deserve special mention. Suffice it to say that this is a generally UNC set with proof issues included, comprising a classic, complete 32 coin set. Due to longevity of storage in this, the original Whitman 9131 album, some pieces have fully developed, or are beginning to acquire delightful album toning. Just to emphasize the breadth of attractive pieces, we mention a number of highlights for the color enthusiast as follows: 1972, 1972-D, 1973-D, 1974, 1974-D, 1976 type-1, 1976 type-2, 1976-D type-1, 1976-D type-2, 1976-S type-1, 1977, 1977-D, 1977-S, 1978, 1978-D and 1978-S. Thus, it is appropriate to say that at least half the set deserves intense examination by prospective bidders.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
