Lot Title: Group of five silver type coins
Lot Number: 331
Description: Better-date pieces only comprise this quintet of silver coins, and the group commences with a desirable 1844 dime (ANACS VG-10) that flashes with surprisingly attractive indigo-grey patina. Remaining non-certified coins include: 1879-CC Morgan dollar (G-4, strictly original and just barely missing perfectly complete rims), 1877-CC Trade dollar (VF/polished, with overly reflective fields but also generally bold internal details), 1866 half-dollar (AU/cleaned, overly bright but not really harshly abraded, and certainly well defined), and 1877-CC quarter (VG/reverse scratches, not that bad since the scratches pretty much blend in with the rest of the original grey patina). Five coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
