Lot Title: 1861 Liberty seated half-dime MS-63, and an 1871 Liberty seated dime MS-62, both PCGS (rattlers)
Lot Number: 326
Description: The Car Wars Collection. Attractive aqua-gold toning encroaches upon the outer fields of the 1861 half-dime, promoting aesthetic quality that surpasses the nominal MS-63 grade. Fairly heavy smoke-grey patina dominates the 1871 dime, but although the surface displays essentially no marks, a weak strike failed to bring up some of the broader details for the portrait. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
