Lot Title: 1877-S Trade dollar, 1893 Morgan dollar, and 1928 Peace dollar, all AU details
Lot Number: 318
Description: Puerto Rico Estate. Terrific sharpness emanates from this trio of better silver dollars, although in each case, the respective grading service has noted some shortcomings, as described. We list them as follows: 1877-S Trade dollar (ANACS AU-55/chopmarked/cleaned, fairly prevalent hairlines on the aluminum-grey surface with a chop mark on the center reverse), 1893 Morgan dollar (ANACS AU-55/environmental damage, although any so-called "damage" seems minimal and the color just looks like it was artificially enhanced), and 1928 Peace dollar (NGC AU/harshly cleaned, or more precisely the surface has been moderately polished). Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
