Description: The surface has been set ablaze by the shimmering illumination of aggressive luster roaming through the fields. The effect of some deeper ash-gold patina on both sides creates the appearance of mint-set toning, as if the coin had been properly stored for many decades in an acceptable, paper numismatic environment. This is a refreshing, "antique" aesthetic for a commemorative issue that is so often found dipped out, or with inferior luster. Only a few of the small abrasions expected of the grade can be located on the cheek, with none singularly distracting.
